Oh my God!!!

*thats all for now. I have to wrap my mind around it and process for later....*

ETA:

I am going to start with the simple things first. And the couples. Some of which coincide.

First-Mark and Lexie: All the illusions, the coffee scene at the start of the ep, to all the times all the girls told Mark to tell Derek, to that great ending scene. They are without a doubt one of my favorite couples on this show, Owen and Christina may beat them, but that is for another time.

When Lexi tells Mark off for not telling Derek and he called himself her boyfriend? I had a grin a mile wide on my face especially since he admitted that he was her boyfriend. Course nothing topped the ending. One thing I love about these two is that they have great on screen chemistry which makes everything they do look so real and so good.

The scene was cute and perfect for them, I hope we get to see more soon.

Second- Owen and Christina: They were fantastic this whole episode. Owen did not take crap from her and *told* her she was being a bully, but he never fought with her which is something Burke would have done.

However in my opinion the greatest moment of this whole episode was their bar scene. The '40 year' speech was awesome and so them. These two have great on screen chemistry as well and you can see the pull towards each other. It makes scenes like this between them amazing.

Okay now for Derek. This will encompass everything for the episode, since even when he was not on screen it was about him and it was done to perfection.

Derek was human. I think it was the first time we have really saw the changed Derek that has only been alluded to before. He was so human in this, so *broken*. Patrick Dempsey was absolute gold, he put so much passion into this.

Derek made a mistake one that normally would not have been such a hassle if it had not had all those other complications. Addison and Derek were fantastic. You could see what made them such a good team and yet also could see how they would not have succeeded in marriage anyway.

I loved the fact that Addison kept turning to Meredith during the whole thing. Plus Meredith had no idea what to do. I think Meredith had her rock shook. I mean that's what Derek is right? Her rock? The one steady thing in her life at the moment and she ad to be the steady one and she didn't understand that. Or didn't want that responsibility. But I think it was the former.

Bailey was great in this she was obviously the comedic relief in an episode that wasn't meant to be funny. Plus you could see her hurt when the Chief just gave her a form response, yet you could also see the Chief's hurt with her decision.

The fight. Damn. I don't even think Derek *heard* Mark's confession. He was to damn broken. But that fight was awesome. I loved how everyone's disbelief came through perfectly. And the fight wasn's about the confession or their past. It was Derek needing something, anything to hit, to break and let's face it the only one that could do that in any way, shape or form was Mark, even though he had no idea what the hell was going on.

Another favorite in this was Izzy. I think this was the first time in a long time that I actually looked forward to her scenes. Her speech at the end was awesome and so, so true. And the fact that she is using *herself* as an example to teach the interns, to teach the ones that could end up hurting a patient was golden.
