“This is not a good idea.” Theo stated as continued with finishing the pizza he was working on.
“You don’t even know what we are doing, Theo,” Lily told him from her spot on the floor. Fran was next to her, both girls working on their project.
“Yeah, that makes me the sane one.” Theo rolled his eyes. “Casey, tell them they are insane.”
The red ranger had entered the kitchen of Jungle Karma Pizza, looked up when Theo called out his name, then proceeded to raise his eyebrows and freeze at the sight of the girls.
“What are you doing?” Casey asked curious.
Fran and Lily turned to one another and smirked.
Shaking his head in the process, Casey took that ominous sign as an answer. “Never mind, I don’t want to know.”
“What? It’s not anything bad,” Fran smiled at him.
“When girls smile like that, it’s always bad.” Theo nodded towards them.
Casey was moving around the kitchen grabbing several orders for the costume table and the random pajama group that had come in during the lunch rush.
“It’s for Dom’s birthday or at least that’s the excuse we are using,” Lily finally answered, not looking at either of her teammates.
Neither boy seemed to hear, too caught up in their work to really pay attention. After all they had gotten use to the craziness of the two girls over the months.
Casey left the kitchen with the suggestion, which was not really a suggestion, that he could maybe, probably use some help on the floor.
Theo gave one last pointed look at his best friend and Fran before ignoring them in favor of actually getting work done. He rolled his eyes. This is not the day for RJ to have off.
Fran glanced at her watch, “Oh,” she exclaimed. “We really should be working, come on”. The frantic girl grabbed Lily’s arm not listening to the girl’s protest and pulled her out the door.
Five minutes later Theo gave a fleeting glance to the forgotten project and paused.
“They never actually told us what it was.” Theo rolled his eyes and started on the appetizers for the hockey team that had taken up three sets of tables.
Later that night, RJ walked through the kitchen of JKP. Upon his entrance he stopped, noticing something off key and looked around. After a casual perusal of the kitchen he nodded.
Eyed the well, he didn’t know what it was and stepped around it.
His eyes landed on the two teens, dressed respectively in red and blue.
“Not that I normally mind the randomness that all of you have brought here, since you arrived,-” RJ began.
The two rangers incredulously stared at him.
Not seeming to notice the looks, RJ continued, “But what is-?”
“We don’t know.” Came from both boys.
“Ahh…” RJ nodded, rocking back on the balls of his feet.
