Sky High fic

so I got bored at like 3 this morning and decided I wanted to try doing a fic from Warrens pov-I pretty much wrote this as I typed-the only thing that was in my head when I started was the 1st paragraph. It will be multi chapter- I just have no idea of actual plot at least not about the family- I have scenes-just no plot. Enjoy!!

It has been a year since homecoming, and very little has changed in Warren Piece’s life. Yes, he is a year older, a senior and months away from becoming an actual Hero, but those are everyday things nothing big. He is still considered, the bad guy in school, he wears the same clothes, and has only learned more control of his powers. No the big change in Warren Piece’s life is that he has friends. Actual friends for the first time he can remember who ignore his ‘stay away from me’ attitude and do not fear him.

He never thought he would become Will Stronghold’s best friend, nor tolerate Hippie, Popsicle, Maj and Glow Stick-but he does, and that means more to him than he will admit. Who he is has not changed, he has just let these people, his friends, into his life, and they have let him into theirs.

The fact that he is Barron Battle’s son does not matter, at least not anymore. That fact surprisingly caused the biggest problem with Magenta’s parents, which he is surprised to find out, all of them are, was fixed after the Stronghold’s talked to them.

He has become a fixture at the Stronghold’s (all of them have keys, since they are there all the time) something he never thought would happen given their past. But he had a talk with Steve and Josie a few months after Homecoming and got through a lot of his frustration and anger.

They are at school, before Save the Citizen, and the group is called to the principal’s office, when his life becomes unglued, at least that is what Glow Stick thinks. He doesn’t know what to feel. But the news from Principal Powers, which apparently though he would take better with friends, that some of his Battle relatives were coming to Maxville, is enough to shock him. He has had no contact with them, they are Hero’s in Europe and what Barron Battle did was enough for them to cut contact with him and his mom.

Two of his cousins will apparently start here, next week and they will be with the others, at least with Will since they are sophomores.  This meeting was to warn him because no one is sure what may happen especially since their parents are coming to the school, his cousins first day will be Sky High’s Open House. The same Open House that will include the six of them and their parents- barring any problems at home-along with at least half the student body. The seniors’ attendance is optional, and Warren is one of the few seniors actually going, and he only because he lost a bet to Zack.

But apparently, the Battle’s want to set up a meeting, why they went through Power’s and not his mother is anyone’s guess. He does not have to meet them, it is up to him, but as he locks eyes with Will and looks at the others he sees their worry and tells Power’s he will think about it. He does know that the meeting if he decides to have it that it will be at the Stronghold’s-he has been staying there for the last few days as his house is renovated something he did not want but would dream of going against his mother.
