Baseball season's on the way   the
Well you better get ready for a brand new day
Hey Chicago what do you say?
The Cubs are gonna win today

They're singing Go Cubs go, go Cubs go
Hey Chicago what do you say?
The Cubs are gonna win today
Go Cubs go, go Cubs go
Hey Chicago what do you say?
The Cubs are gonna win today

They got the power, they got the speed
To be the best in the National League
Well, this is the year and the Cubs are real
So come on down to Wrigley Field

We're singing now Go Cubs go, go Cubs go
Hey Chicago what do you say?
The Cubs are gonna win today
Go Cubs go, go Cubs go
Hey Chicago what do you say?
The Cubs are gonna win today

Baseball time is here again
You can catch it all on WGN
So step your feet and clap your hands
The Chicago Cubs got the greatest fans

Hear them singing now Go Cubs go, go Cubs go
Hey Chicago what do you say?
The Cubs are gonna win today
Go Cubs go, go Cubs go
Hey Chicago what do you say?
The Cubs are gonna win today

Aunt Gale: If you think you can't do something, then do what Uncle Don would do, and try, and if you still can't do it, like Uncle Don couldn't, then say what Uncle Don would say-FOOEY

Elizabeth: Uncle Don was suppose to live forever. Sometimes I think I can hear him yelling for me, and I have to take a step back. I would give anything for just one more day, so I can hear him yell for me again and have his radio on. But I know that he is watching over us.

Sam: I had a dream, the night Uncle Don died, that started with a memory of Uncle Don's last fight with my mom, you got to eat Uncle Don, then you can have dessert (okay boss, okay-and he would reach for the dessert whenever my mom wasn't looking)....then we were at Wrigley Field, on the 3rd base line, Uncle Don is going to bat and waves away his walker (oh FOOEY, I don't need that) and he looks at us his family, gets ready and bats the ball out of the field.

Take me out to the ball game,
Take me out on the crowd;
Buy me some peanuts and Cracker Jacks,
I don't care if I never get back.
Let me root, root, root for the Cubbies,
If they don't win, it's a shame.
For it's one, two, three strikes, you're out,
At the old ball game
.

Billy: I will take with me the strength, from Uncle Don, all of us should for that is all he can give us, and the tears, I cry now are not tears of sorrow, but tears of joy. Just like when Uncle Don would cry for joy after seeing someone, that he had not seen for years. I love you, man.

Amazing grace, how sweet the sound
That sav’d a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now am found,
Was blind, but now I see.

’Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
And grace my fears reliev’d;
How precious did that grace appear,
The hour I first believ’d!

Thro’ many dangers, toils and snares,
I have already come;
’Tis grace has brought me safe thus far,
And grace will lead me home.

The Lord has promis’d good to me,
His word my hope secures;
He will my shield and portion be,
As long as life endures.

Yes, when this flesh and heart shall fail,
And mortal life shall cease;
I shall possess, within the veil,
A life of joy and peace.

The earth shall soon dissolve like snow,
The sun forbear to shine;
But God, who call’d me here below,
Will be forever mine.

Goodbye, Uncle Don-I love you
