We are redoing my front room this week. Or more precisely my dad is, he and my mom have all these plans which they have not discussed with me or my sister so I am basically waiting for the final outcome. It all has to be done this week though since my dad is off work.
This all means that all of today was spent boxing up all the crap from our front room (again my dad and my sister) I go into help; sit around for ten minutes getting yelled at and doing nothing. SO suffice it to say I really wish I was working all week. I am extremely happy I am working Thursday through Sunday and have to go in for a Staff meeting on Wednesday.
Don't get me wrong I am for the most part looking forward to the changes but I wished the process involved less of my dads stellar personality *sarcasm*
I am not looking forward to the day we redo my bedroom. Lets face it I will probably be in school by the time my family gets around to it. Which means it will be my sister's room. The only thing I can hope for in that regard is that I actually have a bed and not have to sleep on the couch when I come home.
Plus I am decidedly bored. I am craving reading some long drawn out Stargate fic but there aren't any that exist that are well written. Plus nothing else seems to appeal to me. The hazards of being a fast good reader. I have all my favorites memorized and some of the things that sound interesting are horribly written, or not written, but I am not that good of a writer to even think about writing the scenes I want.
