sgpr_fanSo yesterday I reread Quiet Comes the Dawn by Admrl. McGill over at ff.net. It is a wonderful Harry Potter story that continues directly after the ending of Deathly Hallows. There are 10 chapters and though it hasn't been updated since 07' the author is back from a hiatus and is hoping to continue shortly.
It really is my all time favorite HP fic that I have ever read. And it is extremely well written. Go and check it out.
Another fic (series) this time are the wonderful HP stories written by Chelles over at ff.net. They tell the story of James, Sirius, Remus, Peter, Lily and friends through Hogwarts. (Before Harry..)
Then continue on to James and Lily's untimely death, (Potter Legacy...)
And then at the end, the story from Remus and Sirius starting during book three, (Ties that Bind...)
All three are great prequels to the nooks we know, they just don't include details from DH.
