me and my sister got laptops for christmas. Well actually we got it before christmas but by like 2 days so its the same thing. It took a while to set up and all and my mom still has to install all the microsoft programs and all but we have them. I don't  know how much I will use mine since we have the desktop but I do know I will need it for college next year  so it works. 

I am still mad cause I want to find a Doctor Who fic that I just can't find and I really want to reread it. I just spent a few hours looking at  A Teaspoon and An Open Mind fanfic archive with no luck.

The christmas special of Doctor premiered in the U,K yesterday. Haven't figured out if I want to watch it yet or wait till it comes out in the states.

Glad you like the icons. :) As for my journal background and banner, both are customize. I got the layout and banner from a layout community that I'm a member of. I have no clue how to make them myself, but there's some awesome communities out there that people post fabulous layouts. Plus you don't have to know HTML in order to do it, so woohoo on that. LOL

I got my current layout from premade_ljs. (You have join the community in order to view the actual layouts but there's tons of really pretty ones) and each layout has instructions that walk you through how to install the layout you want.

Also here's another community that has way more layouts and you don't have to join in order to see the layouts. freelayouts. They have easy instructions as well.
