I love the new Internet Explorer 8. My computer for some reason wouldn't 'wake up' just now and so I turned it off and on. I opened up the internet and was given the option to restore what I had up before. Thank God. I was in the middle of rereading Pandora147's Someday Trilogy from FF.Net and didn't remember where I left off. I got distracted by Deadliest Catch.

On that note:

On October 22, 2008, the Fishing Vessel Katmai sunk off the west coast of Alaska. After 17 hours spent in raft boats in hurricane weather, survivors were rescued.

Of the 11 people that made up the crew of the Katmai , there were four survivors. The captain, a deckhand and two greenhorns. The chief engineer went down with the ship, four were found by the coast guard and two other fishing vessels respectfully and two were lost at sea.

General Disclaimer: I do not own Jungle Fury or Power Rangers.

AN: Sorry I took so long to update, guys. My muse wanted to get ahead in the plot without the build up behind it so I have been arguing with my muse (read: myself) for weeks. That and I struggled with this chapter several times scrapping previous versions before I settled on this one.

So for my apology, I give you a chapter solely devoted to Casey and RJ. Well, mostly anyway. You should all thank ChildofDarkness1988, my wonderful beta, who made this part enjoyable to read. Thank You!!

Enjoy.

Especially since, unlike Casey, Swoop would have some idea about what was actually going on. )
sgpr_fan: (We are Robin Hood (gr))

So Scruffy is doing fine. His hotspots are already scabbing away and thanks to that spray he is barely scratching anymore. However givining him his ear drops is another story. I had to bring home a muzzle from work so we could give them to him. He is suppose to get them twice  a day but that isn't happening. Mainly because two of us need to do it, me and my dad, and I am the only one that remembers and since I get up later for work it doesn;t get done in the morning. I am pissed at my parents because they don't unerstand that if this doesn't happen he will get an actual ear infection and be ten times worse.

I also want to see season 3 of Robin Hood but its not airing yet in America and it really not worth spending 60-70 dollars each, to buy the pevious season when there are only 26 episodes between them.

I also want Doctor Who season 4, usually we get this from my dad's boss but that didn't happen this year.

I am egerly waitiing for the fifth season box set of Stargate Atlantis and the fall premiere of Stargate Universe. I don't know how I feel about this yet. With Atlantis I remember thinking I would watch the pilot and se how it goes.  I very seriously thought I would end up watching it out of obligation of my love for Stargate SG-1. That didn't happen, obviously, however I also think this about Universe, which I fear has a higher possibility of actually happening because it really isn't Stargate.

In a different world-Power Rangers: RPM  is awesome!! Totally made of win  ♥   ♥

And thanks to [livejournal.com profile] starandrea , I once again have a different canon view of this show just like I had with Space. Though What I Owe You and Dare You to Ask isn't so much a fix it story to have the series make sense like "First" was (which is canon for me now, so it's very hard to rewatch In Space without going wtf?). No, RPM, surprisingly does a good job at those things called continuity and logic. Her stories are the fluffier relationship version of the show. The Team Building we don't get.

Also the fact that the show itself seems to be pushing a Slim relationship and [livejournal.com profile] starandrea is making me want a DillonK one, is just another reason I adore her writing*. Guess which one I think is more canon? ::laughs::

I hurt my knee friday night cause I thought it would be fun to slide into the bottom of my stove. I still went to work Saturday and Sunday but I had to spend time icing my knee a couple of times both days. Its hurting me now mainly because I took Scruffy on a walk through the park and didn't think of the fact that I would have to walk around for a half hour straight. I haven't been on it that long consecutively since I fell.

*I am sorry I haven't commented on your last two, by the way, but they are made of fluff and love :giggles::  ♥

So Scruffy has been scratching his shoulder area a lot this past week. At first we just thought he was scratching the area we put his Frontline on so we took him to Petco to get groomed. Well aparently he had been scratching so much that it had scabbed and was starting to pus (needless to say he didn't get bathed.)

So within a half an hour we had him at the vets. Apparently it was a Hotspot (skin infection basically). Something that should have been really obvious to me but I never thought of it.

Anyway he got shaved and there are 3 spots on is shoulder. They also cleaned his ears and treated them since there had been more yeast and bacteria than the vet was comfortable with.

So  poor Scruffy now has ear drops 2 times a day (that should be fun) and Clavamox (an antbiotic) for his hotspots (twice a day) and a spray (the name evades me) to help sooth the spots that he needs sprayed 2-3 times daily.

Hopefully the longest this will last is 15 days.

Like my new icon?? I love The Big Bang Theory, and this is froma recent episode and it was hilarious! Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] htbthomas for the icon! I put the rest of that entry in my memories for future use ♥

A new Grey's Anatomy is on in 30 minutes!!! I am so very, very excited. Southland, that new NBC cop show is on at 9. It's surprisingly good, I just find it extremely funny that so much of Ryan Atwood  is part of the character Ben MacKenzie plays-Ben Shermer (something like that)

Edit: It's Sherman.

M*A*S*H

So after the M*A*S*H Anniversery Special, TVLand aired a bunch of episodes. Of course it all reminded me of how much I absolutely adore this show. I mean I first really started watching it a few years ago when Hallmark channel would aair like four episodes a day. Thats when I watched the majority of the series.

Of course before I could see the early seasons (I had started at the beginning of 4) I watched the anniversery special. This was how I found out about Luietenet Colonel Henry Blake's death :( So of course this made me eager to see the early episodes and very eager to see Abyssinia, Henry.

The last scene has remained hands down  one of my favorite endings of any television show I have ever watched.

Of course this put me in the mood to watch some of the After Mash series that I have. Yet I need time to watch all that in one go and preferably be off work the next day. However I don't have that option until atleast next week and even that may be up for grabs.

In other news I finished rereading [info]miss_porcupine's Qui Habitat Universe. Something I have done before but never in one sitting. Surprisingly it is no longer kinda depressing (which I can argue it really isn't because I have a skewed sense of whatever in regards to what I see/hear/say), since a lot of it involves death, invasion and loss in our favorite Stargate Universe. No, today I just had the craving for more, more, more! I always do but the little voice in my head was more demanding this time around.

It left me also wanting to reread Orpheus but that is another thing all together mainly cause to me it is slightly more depressing (again in regeards to my skewed whatever) in a whole different way. But It is still a great story that I love to read, as all of her stuff is:) I do want to reread the rest of her stories as well but again, it's in the realm of I want more, more, more! That and I have read all of those so many times that I know them all by heart so sometimes it's not as amusing to reread some of them.

So [livejournal.com profile] ncis_shared has an April thing-a-thon centered around everyone's favorite (and sometimes hated) Anthony DiNozzo. Though I was always afraid to write NCIS, especially since I have been a fan less than a year (though have seen every ep, some more than once) Some of the prompts interests me. So I am going to try writing a some type of story in the seven days until the 29th end date of the thing-a-thon.

I have already started something but I have yet to work in the one prompt I am definitely going to use.

Wish me luck!!

Oh!  In other news [livejournal.com profile] serpentine85 , informed me about the [livejournal.com profile] spandex_report , which I knew of (in the sense that I vaguely recall having seen/heard of it somewhere) but had never read. Now I find that I not only want to send them links so my stories can be featured (shameless, I know)  But I now have a place to look for brand new fic!

Thanks!

I'm bored. Like really bored. There is nothing new on T.V, which sucks but I can't wait for Thursday for a new Grey's Anatomy!!!

I want to read, like really really want to read. The thing is I can't figure out what I want to read. At first I thought I would start rereading [profile] miss_porcupine 's Stargate Atlantis, but then I want to read other stuff like [livejournal.com profile] starandrea 's "First" Series. And yeah...help?

This episode was made of win ♥ The whole opening was awesome one of the best scenes in Ranger history. Seen in [livejournal.com profile] starandrea 's post here, how awesomingly funny it was!

I was so not expecting Summer's reveal and I am grateful for PR for surprising me something I can't remeber happening in along time.

So it took me days to figure out how to use [profile] rory_tutorgirl 's Robin Hood mood theme, here. At first I couldn;t get it uploaded to my new photobucket account (made for this purpose). I had a  bright idea today and it took me 3 hours to get all 132 images uploaded but finally success!!

Hope you all enjoy it as much as I do!
sgpr_fan: (Default)

So I just spent the last half hour writing up a page long outline for chapter 8. These are things that are definitely going to be in the chapter and just from that I can tell you it will more than likely be the longest chapter to date. It may take me a little while to write it up because there are somevery important parts in it that I would like to be as perfect as posible before it gets betaed.

Though I am hoping to aim at having an update every two weeks, so if all goes well-Twice a month.

This may be staggered-some time this week I am heading to my cousins to say goodbye to their 17 year old dog, something I am dreading.

I am trying to upload a Robin Hood mood theme, but since my computer is retarded I haven't been able to upload the .gif's to Photobucket. I am going to ask Keli about it tomorrow, though I doubt I will have more than a 5 percent chance in getting her to help me.

So when my dad got home today he took me and Scruffy to the bank to deposit my two checks and for me to get money out. When we finished with that he took me to Best Buy where I bought Season 4 of Grey's Anatomy (I was going to buy the first too but they were out). I still haven't finished 3 but thats besides the point.

I also bought Keith Urban's Defying Gravity and Brad Paisley's Play (which I am kinda regretting since even though I love the guy there are only like 5 songs out of 16 that have lyrics...)

I am listening to Keith's right now, but I am also bored.

I think I am going to reread [livejournal.com profile] starandrea 's JF fic than her RPM stuff (all the while fighting the urge to rewatch the last  6 episodes) I am more than likely going to that on Monday when I don't have to work.

On that note I am going to work tomorrow but considering I still feel like crap I may have to leave early.

The stuff my mom ordered for Scruffy came today. She got him a stuffed (musical) violin, that actually has cool music. He hasn't yet figured out how to work it but I am waiting to be woken up in the middle of the night by it. She also ordered him a red version of the blue sqeajy ball that he has. I loved this cause instead of red a green one came! She also ordered a retractable leash, which I didn't want in the first place but my dad did. However, she bought a nice, expensive one, that actually seems you know worth the price. She bought the one for dogs up to 110 pounds (Scruffy's like 54) but it doesn;t just have the 'string' leash, the actual line is about an inch thich and it seems to be made of strong material. It also came with a safety collar so to speak, something that you can hook on to the leash like a second collar (along with the original) if something were to happen to the orignal. It's a Flexi product so at this point its something I am comfortable to try and use. The only problem will be getting my dad to use it properly.

*I need a Scruffy icon ♥

I've ben sick for the last few days and today it all came to a head and I actually had to call off of work-which I wasnt happy about because I actually enjoy my job. (For the most part anyway)

So at like 7 (I had gone back to bed in my parents water bed because it was heated and I was freezing) my mom comes in and says here take this antibiotic-Note: I had no idea where it came from at the time but apparently my dad got them prescribed when he was sick a couple of weeks ago.

So I feel better, though it does not help that I walked Scruffy about 3 miles today to go to the PetsSmart by our house, facing the wind. So I was cold.

So chapter 7 of Standing Ground is finally finished. ChildofDarkness1988 is betaing it for me and then I will probably give it to Dark Knight, ff.net handle Knightwood over at PRUnited for another beta before I post it over there.

You Are a Cougar
You have more strength than most people, and with it, the ability to inflict a lot of harm.
Your power gives you confidence, and you find leading others to be easy.

You believe that you need to the best, and you are very driven to excel.
Most people immediately admire you, but some people feel very envious of your abilities.
I like this? I am actually surprised by this one. Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] starandrea for the quiz.
