I so want to fo to this!! I don't want to fly especially if I have to go myself but members of PRU are working on a way for some of us to go cross country and I am hoping o be able to tag along....

In other news:

Got season 5 of Stargate Atlantis. Currently have watched to Whispers and am continuing in a little bit.

I also found some really great Transformes fic that [profile] macx_larabee has wrote both on his website and over at [livejournal.com profile] tf2007fun .

So apparently IK am Ceiling Cat:

You are a master of stealth. They never see you coming. But you always see them coming. HEY-O!

Over at The Which LOL Cat Are You test that [livejournal.com profile] starandrea mentioned in her post. I don't  know wheter to agree cause its partially true or find it very ironic...

I have fallen under the spell of the wonderful story Drummer by Lady Bluejay over at ff.net. I loved the Prequel, but for some odd reason Drummer and the main characters Amroth and Devoran really, really intrigue me. She writes them so well.

I have literally reread it five times in the last week as I eagerly await chapter 9. I am in fact rereading it right now.^_^

In other news:

I have hit a big brick wall, in regards to Standing Ground. I have the outline for chapter 8 written, I have started writing the beginning. However that is it...I know what I want to write, I just can't seem to get over this brick wall long enough for all those little steps to come together and make it legible:(

I hopefully will have some long winded thing up by mid/end of July. Hopefully ::sheepish grin::

Stupid 4th of July:( Currently trying to keep Scruffy from panicking. Mildly succesful, he's thrown up twice but only in the last 2 hours.

I just came back from seeing The Proposal. I have never had so much fun during a movie. It was hilarious! I literally laughed through the whole thing, it was so brilliant and fantastic.

I never realized how funny Sandra Bullock was or Ryan Renalds. They played off of each other perfectly. I know its repeptive but I really couldnot stop laughing! And besides that there was also a serious subplot and it flowed perfectly with the rest of the movie.

Kudos to everyone involved with this wonderful film. I so want to see it again!!

So today Caregivers had to be at work at 6:30 so we could have everything finished by nine thirty for a photo shoot. This entailed me getting up at 5:20.

The photographer did not get there until 10. We were not happy. At all.

I am closing tomorrow so that means I can sleep till 10:30.

So here is the very related post on this amazing movie...

I start working full time on June 1st. It won't be such a big change but I don't know yet what my new schedule will be exactly since I am apparently not closing like Jessica was doing. Atleast I hope not, working 12-8 on weekdays is not my cup of tea.

Watching NCIS: Kill Ari part 1 right now.

So I've spent the last hour (relatively speaking) setting up a DreamWidth Account, same user name as LJ but differnt Journal titles. Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] starandrea I have a somewhat basic understanding on how it works. It really shouldn't be that hard but I am very very tired.

In other news-Nikki (my aunt and uncle's 17 year old dog) was put to sleep last week. I was suppose to go over there to say goodby but they never told us. We found out tonight. I will miss her a lot, we practically grew up together, but I am really glad she isn't suffering anymore.

Elizabeth (her family) is putting Tiffy down later this week. She is at least 16 and can barely walk, but I got the chance to say goodby last night.

My dad and I saw Nght at the Museum and Terminator:Salvation last night. More on those tomorrow. I work in KC and not DT tomorrow, which will be weird, but I have mOnday and Wednesday off next week. Two days Yipee!!

I did it??

Never mind. Thanks!!

ETA2: I will not speak about how long that took to figure out again ♥

I  have an OpenID account over at Dreamwidth, under the same username. Not sure how much I will be doing over there. My understanding being that since it's not an actual account I can't have a journal; but I will have to wait and see. The hard part is remembering I *have* it.

Side Note:

I accepted a full time Animal Caregiver, position at PAWS Chicago. It means I am putting off school for another year, but it's something I want to do. I *will* be  going to school though. That has never been off the table, just deferred.

So I am exhausted. Really. I am going to work the next two weeks without a day off, and my last day off was wednesday.

I saw Star Trek and X-Men Origins: Wolverine. I will have reaction posts up sometime soon.

I also will have a post about the NCIS episode(s) Legend (Parts 1&2) and the latest episode of Numb3rs since each deserves it's own post.

Truly am exhausted. Three people out at work and only 3 of us to really cover, I need a break but that isn't happening anytime soon.

Got the Southern Vampire Mysteries (the Sookie Stackhouse books, what the HBO series Trueblood is based off of) last week (books 1 through 8) read all in 2 1/2 days. I'll post about that as well. Book 9 is only out in hardcover so I will probably read it in the store and buy it later.

Don't be expecting any new chapters for Standing Ground, anytime soon. I need to be mildly coherent as I write that and I'm just not. (It's taken me a long time to write this post because I keep misspelling. My mobile functions are lacking)

I am exhausted. Should head to bed. I will go to bed....

Books...

So today I bought the Southern Vampire Mysteries (Sookie Stackhouse) series off of Amazon.com. The series is what the HBO tve series True Blood is based on. I have wanted to buy the books for sometime but always put it off and yesterday I saw that amazon had the box set of books 1-7 for only 31 bucks. That was a steal since individually wach book cost 8 bucks plus tax. I also ordered the 8th book for only 4 something. the full price being 36 something.

If I would have bought them all individually it would have cost me over 60 bucks. Maybe even closer to 70. I also am looking at another book series that caught my eye. I think its called the Alpha and Omega (something having to do with wolves) But its about shifters and it looked interesting.

I am going to the 9:55 showing of X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

I'M going with my dad and next week I am going to see Star Trek.

So you know how I said I would participate in the April thing-a-thon over at [livejournal.com profile] ncis_shared. Well I never finshed my entry so, I didn't but I will probably finsih writing up my prompt and posting anyway.

Edit: I have absolutely no idea why half of this is bolded. It won't let me unbold it. Plus, I know I'm 19 but I adore Miley Cyrus and I love "The Climb". It helps that most of her stuff is country (which in the long run is why I adore her anyway).
